SATURDAY 29th December - DJ McMixMeister will be otherwise occupied in 'Dam, but we'll have a bloody good party anyway!
For this 'end of year' event, we'll be having a selection of DJs delivering an hour each of their favourite noise!

If you think you could mix an hour set, or know someone who's interested, get in touch email me (see profile). Places are limited, if we run out of slots, names will be drawn on the night.

A VERY CLEAR NOTICE:
This won't be a requests night... If you want to hear something played be prepared to get up and play it! Here is an opportunity to play an HOUR of what you want to hear! don't say I didn't offer!

The finishing touches are being made for the next Piglet's on the 30th.

Also plans are being drawn for an X-mas / end of year event, which is looking to be something special & a bit different, watch this space...

Several of you want to help promote Piglet's events - start here, please encourage people to use the blog, it WILL happen HERE FIRST!
I hope that a few who didn't supply an email or number might find their way here, seeing as they'd like to DJ, but I don't know who U R! (End Rant)

I hope that we might have a DJ tryout night, seperately to the monthly core event, giving hour slots (and practice time) to potential DJs. Maybe make it a casual thing (expect silences and mismatching trax, go-on prove me wrong).

Well, I had a good time, hope you did too!

Thanks to all of you who came along, even to the guy who knocked over the ticket desk (after all you did buy us more beer - so a public thankyou and official Piglet pardon is due).

Earl is keen for a repeat episode, so I will keep you posted when we get the dates settled.

Thankyou to those who completed the questionaires, the input will be made use of. Feedback has been positive, and I can say from what we've heard, bring some CDs with you, I can't guarantee requests, but we'll see what can be done!

Piglet's events are back! - After 6 years away from the scene. Myself (Piglet), and my (now) wife, Ruth have a 3 year old Daughter, Amethyst (Amy), and have spent time reflecting on Piglet's in the past, and decided it's time to do Piglet's again. It's been a hectic months work putting it together but we've done it, Piglet's - re-engineered.

We now have our own equipment, and have attempted to produce a feature rich show for you all. There's Pro-lighting, smoke and lasers, and a few event related gimmicks, it is halloween after all.

The first 'second wave' event is themed for halloween and this is responsible for the all new logo, inspired by a pumpkin picture I found whilst browsing for material to produce the posters.

We hope to make the development of our events pro-active and want you to be involved in it's development. We are catering to a niche market, and hope to rekindle the spirit lost after the unfortunate closure of the original Bushy's. Broadly we want to create a 'home' for the alternative scene on the Isle of Man.

Development plans will rely on everyones input, and we have many ideas of our own, these will have to remain under wraps for now, until we can see what shape things are taking.

In the meantime, let's see what fun we can have tonight, and expect pictures here soon.
